Poole Dolphins

How it all began

The Dolphins started up 2018 as a local youth American Football club for ages 13 to 16.

In 2019, we competed in our first season of full contact American Football with 12 players; winning 3 games.

The club grew in 2020 despite the pandemic and the Dolphins returned to playing in 2021. In 2021 the club had grown to the point it was able to field an U16s and U19s team. This was also largely supported by a Lottery return to play grant.

How it's going

The Dolphins missed out on the U16 playoff by the finest of margins, even with a 10-2 record for that season.

The U19s made it to the National Finals in 2023, 2024 and 2025
