#3 SEEDED CLUB IN THE COUNTRY
The Poole Dolphins U19s have clinched the playoffs no 3 seed and a trip to the finals !!
The Under 19s reformed after missing the 2022 season due to a lack of numbers in key positions.
They started off the 2023 season opener with a lot of rust and mistakes in their tournament narrowly beating Herts Cheetahs 8-4 in game one. The Dolphin lost their second game against Somerset Wyverns 30-24.
The Dolphins improved through tournament two and three making changes and refining both sides of the ball.
The under 19s arrived at the last tournamnet which was the second tournament in a row at Herts knowing a win over them would give the Dolphins their first ever playoffs in their short history.
All the games with Herts had been close all season, but on Saturday 15th July the Dolphins played an almost flawless game beating the Herts Cheetahs 48-2 giving them a trip to the playoff for the first time as the 3 seed.
Amazing thank you to the players, coaches and Herts for being great hosts once again.
