All the information right here to aid you in knowing the costs of your child playing American Football for the Poole Dolphins
First of all, we must state something you may already know, American Football is a contact sport.
As a club we make every effort to ensure safe techniques are used during your child’s participation in the sport. However, you cannot always plan for every situation and outcome. We do risk assessments and we plan training sessions in advance to mitigate and prevent any injury or harm; however, accidents can and do happen.
The following information is to help you understand the costs involved.
Every player who decides to commit to play for us in the upcoming season must bring both registration forms completed. These forms must be complete and signed by a parent/guardian and returned to the club – unless you are 18 or over.
These forms must be completed for all returning players too.
Without the forms the player may not take part in kitted contact sessions.

The cost for a season
American Football is an affordable sport for a child. Its costs are no more than football, rugby or cricket for a season. In some cases the costs are less.
Every new and current player that registers with us and wishes to play in the upcoming season will be charge a fee of £110. This fee will include:
1) Register the British American Football Association (BAFA) who govern our league.
2) A pair of white game pants (leggings), 7pc pad set to go inside the game pants and a belt.
3) A game jersey allocated for the season.
4) Kit rental of their helmet and shoulder pads that are allocated to the player for the season.
Note: If the fee can be paid before 17th December 2023 the fee is reduced to £100 with £10 off as a thank you.
The fee can be paid off in installments via standing order, direct debit, bank transfer or cash.
We will start registrations from our first regular training session.
The fee must be paid by Sunday 17th March 2024.
Training Sessions
Training sessions run every other Sunday. (Schedule of session will become available and are weather dependant).
The training sessions are held at Red Hill Park, Bournemouth BH9 2SP.
The session runs from 09:00 – 11:30.
All new players have two free sessions as tasters.
Each session thereafter is £3.
You can pay on the day, bank transfer; or pay a block off at once using one of the methods.
