U19 – 2021 – Player Awards

Player Awards as voted by players, coaches and the commitee

The first U19 season for the Poole Dolphins was an eventful one. After securing a £9995 grant from Sport England and Lottery Fund in May, the Dolphins purchased their U19 kit and equipment.

The Dolphins also secured a sponsorship deal from Consumables Unlimited who are based in Wimborne, Dorset. This sponsorship of £1200 was instrumental in purchasing the U19 jerseys.

The Dolphins received the bulk of their kit 1 week before their first game in Essex. Up until that point they had been sharing U16 kit whilst training. The Dolphins ended the season 1-5, which included an away win @ Rushmoor Knight in the process. The Dolphins committee agreed that the players should be honoured with awards, which had been voted on by the players, the coaches and non-coaching committee members.

The committee agreed on 4 categories for the awards: Offensive MVP, Defensive MVP, Most Improved and Team Player.
